The author presents early 20th-century knowledge of stars, planets, galaxies and the history of Earth, supported by diagrams, star charts and black-and-white astronomical photographs.
Hardcover binding with cloth boards and leather spine, decorated with gilt details and a stylized spiral galaxy motif on the cover. Interior includes numerous illustrations, constellation drawings and scientific tables typical of the interwar period.
Condition is good for its age, with natural toning and foxing to the pages and light wear to the binding. No restoration. A genuine original, not a reprint.
