DetailsAntique German book titled “Körners Werke”, a collected edition of works by Theodor Körner, one of the most important figures of German Romanticism and a national poet of the early 19th century. This early 20th century edition was published by Deutsches Verlagshaus Bong & Co. in Berlin Leipzig Wien Stuttgart and features a classic red cloth binding with gilt details.
The volume includes poetry, dramatic works, prose, a portrait engraving of the author and a facsimile of an original handwritten letter. A solid and complete example of a collectible German literary edition, suitable for collectors of antique books, German literature or historic European publications.
Please note that the book shows visible age related wear. Foxing and brown spots are present on many pages and there are stains and wear to the cloth cover. These signs of age are more noticeable in person than in photos. The text remains fully readable and the binding is stable.
