DetailsCold War era Soviet 8mm movie camera Quarz 1x8S-2, manufactured in the USSR in the 1970s. A mechanical wind-up motion picture camera equipped with the fast Meteor 8M-1 1.8/9–38 lens.
The camera is in very clean cosmetic condition for its age. Body finish is well preserved with only minor signs of use. All engravings are clear and legible.
The wind-up motor runs smoothly. Frame counter operates. All external controls move freely. Lens appears clean with no visible fungus. Not film tested.

– Meteor 8M-1 1.8/9–38 lens
– Yellow Y-2x 46x0.75 filter
A strong example of Soviet mechanical design from the Eastern Bloc era. Ideal for collectors, display, or experimental 8mm film projects.
